William Gibbs WOL

William Gibbs

William was born in Crickhowell, and now lives in Llangynidr. He worked around the world in mathematics education, in Sierra Leone , Zambia and  the Solomon Islands  before returning to the UK to teach in the School of Education at the University of Leeds. He continued to work on educational projects around the world, in Bhutan, India, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Kenya and Ecuador. His farm in Llangynidr has been part of the environmental scheme, Tir Gofal, since its inception. He helped found Walls of Llangynidr in 2000, and worked with John Sansom on the Beacons Way Art Trail.
