The Offa’s Dyke Path is a well-known national trail that runs from Chepstow, on the banks of the river Severn, to pleasant Prestatyn on the North Wales coast. It is 180 miles of mixed terrain which roughly follows the Wales / England border. Following a man-made border and ancient monuments, rather than natural features, the dyke path crosses a variety of landscapes as will be described by Alun and Isobel.
