The Route

From time to time route changes to the Beacons Way are introduced. When this happens the resulting new route will be signed and waymarked. The 2005 edition of the OS Explorer maps OL12 and OL13 contain some inaccuracies in the route; these have largely been corrected in the 2009 edition. The route descriptions below were last updated in March 2011.

Note: The maps below are intended for guidance only. You will need a compass and OS Explorer maps OL 12 and OL 13 and, preferably, the Beacons Way Guide. You may zoom in and move the map around to see the route on each map below in more detail.
