Ceridwen Coulson
Ceridwen retired from the NHS as a Consultant Chemical Pathologist at Christmas 2010. She continues to work in a private laboratory in Bristol.
During her professional career she was Head of Department locally for twenty-four years and fulfilled many national roles, notably President of the Association of Clinical Pathologists, and a Director of the Association for Clinical Biochemistry.
Ceridwen has walked in the Brecon Beacons National Park over the last forty years, also particularly in the Lake District, Snowdonia, and the Haute-Savoie area of the French Alps.
She is a keen skier, and has sailed in many parts of the world, including doing a leg of the Millennium Round the World Yacht Race – Tobago to Tahiti via the Panama Canal, Galapagos, and Marquesas.
She was elected to the Executive Committee in June 2011.
