New Subscription Rates from 1st October 2011

The revised subscription rates agreed at the AGM in June 2011 are applicable for all new applications received after 1st October 2011. Applications received between 1st October 2011 and the end of December 2011 will be due for renewal at the end of 2012. The new rates will apply to existing members from 1st January 2012.

Membership of the Society is open to everyone. There are annual subscription rates for individuals, families and under 18s as well as family and individual life membership rates.

Members are entitled to attend and vote at the AGM, stand for the Executive Committee and to participate in walks and events at no charge. Funds are used to further the aims and objectives of the Society.

The objectives of the Society, as stated in the Constitution are:
“to advance the enhancement, protection and conservation of the countryside and other amenities of the Brecon Beacons National Park for the benefit of the public,”  “to advance the education of the public in the ways in which to achieve the above  including the provision of opportunities for healthy recreation and in particular walking.”
