USEFUL INFORMATION

This page contains items of information that may be useful to Society members who walk in the National Park. Although it is primarily aimed at those who participate in the Guided Walks Programmes some of the information may be useful to other walkers also.

Obstructions
This category contains items on footpaths temporarily closed or different on the ground from what is shown on the map (e.g. in managed woodland), bridges under repair, car parks closed etc

• The track from the northern end of the Usk Reservoir Dam to the open common to the north between GR SN 829296 and GR SN 820298 is obstructed.  The blockage is of about twenty wind blown trees .It is impossible to walk along the correct route (reported to BBNPA 30/9/08)

Footpath problems when you are out and about in the Park?
Please report any problems with footpaths and rights of way such as obstructions, map errors, misleading signs, etc to the Park Authority.
